Hi all, im currently in the process of buying a new soundcard and am intersted in the new Emu 0404.
Since its very new there is almost no info to be found on the net.
So i'd like to ask you people if anybody allready has some experiences with this card and like to share this info in this thread.
Thank you,

I have no experience of this card but do have a 1820m. The DSP chip is the same as is the routing software. I know of no better routing flexibility on any other soundcard. I dont think people who have ordered the 0404 have received one yet though.
If you are looking for more info on the new EMU cards then you are best of going here:

I'm not familiar with the new EMU cards, but the Creamware cards have extensive routing as well. Can you bring up several mixers and route one mixer into another, adjust how many ASIO inputs and outputs on the fly, and route any input to any output?ambe wrote:I have no experience of this card but do have a 1820m. you can't set up multiple mixers but you can do the rest. pretty good considering these are the first drivers.

hey, thnx for the answers so far...
question, does it really makes a diff. when using unballanced against ballanced outputs?
I ordered my 0404 today and will get it probably in 3 days...
When i have some more info about it i will post it in this thread.
