HGFortune had more fans (and still has, he surely sits on his sound cloud in heaven now and learns Kontakt scripting) than TubeOhm and MaxSynths.cubanoid wrote:TubeOhm and MaxSynths are the ones I first thought of but according to KVR there are plenty more:Tricky-Loops wrote:Where are they? Many Synthedit programmers even give away their once commercial synths & effects for free now, think of DelaMancha, Ugo, Chris Kerry, HGFortune (NFG series) etc.

No idea how successful they are but I guess that's up to them.
TubeOhm - I haven't bought ANY synth from this guy. The synths sound great (for Synthedit synths) but for the price there are better alternatives...same with MaxSynths...
That said, if a synth is really inspiring you, buy it - no matter for which price and whether it's made with Synthedit, Flowstone, C++ or Java. I didn't want to rain on ArtVera's pyrite parade, I even encouraged ArtVera (who I like for her GUI and sound design), the only thing I criticized was the price...
