Was at GC and they had one of these.....

Incredibly over priced. (1799????? get out of town.....) but a really nice guitar...great feeling neck. I think that is a discontinued model and there were some love bruises on the back

I didn't want to be a d..k to the sales staff and low ball them. I'd offer......800 out the door?

Averted. But there is no NGD, and I has a little bit of a sad......they almost came down to my price, but I had to just let it go......

Too much. If they would have gone down to 1000 plus tax I'd have done it. But it's been abused by someone. If I'm going to get something like that, it's gotta be crazy price. Otherwise, why get it? It was all muffed on the back, and a couple of the tuners were damaged (the locking part) so I'd likely have had to replace them. I took my reading glasses and inspected for cracks and such and there were none that I could see, so I'd have rolled the dice at xmas miracle price

The front didn't have a scratch on it though

LOLZ. Ok, there is no doubt I'm going to get that regardless. I was hoping for a sale (which all they did was have a sale that was the same as their "regular" sale...

) and kinda wanted to wait until after Namm just to see if anything is cooking. Not in any hurry. I'm 99.9% sure of what I want though

Speaking of Carvin, I just ran across a used one from a guy who might be legit. The pics are too big to post but it's in Cali so it wouldn't be a big shipping fee.

Not sure what I'd offer, but that is a REALLY nice looking guitar! I think speced it would be about 14-1500 with case from Carvin.
