I can't do that test now because my room is light-flooded like hell :P Will do it in the evening :)
PS: At the moment I can't see any of the first row.

OK, now that it's dark, the only square I simply don't see at all is the first one. The next two I could draw merely because of the border contrast, and the rest I really see.

Then your monitor display is lighter than mine - I can see no. 6 and kind of guess the shape of 4 and 5. Which makes the whole thing even weirder...'cause I can still see Nero GUI just fine ;)

It must be the extreme daylight here because now I can also read some labels of the synth, namely the big ones. But even now the contrast is bad. I don't really understand why anyone would use those gray fonts on a dark gray background...
Red fonts on black are also heavy on the eye. It might look good on real-size displays, but not on tiny GUI's. Many developers seem to forget the size factor. A real synth is like 5 to 10 times as big.
Aesthetics should always play only the second fiddle, way behind ergonomics.

This little synth serves its purpose very well. Simple layout, very pleasing sounding osc/filter modules and good sequencer. Great for basses, sequences and leads, just as it says on the tin. Well done sir :tu:
