Where are Ambient chord progressions in the Chord Progression Browser?

In the manual, on page 9, it says,

"for making ambient/soundtrack-ish music (certain VST instruments are tailor-made for ambient music, such as Green Oak’s Crystal, or Athereal by Psychic Modulation Software, and others). Use some of the pre-made “ambient” chord progressions from the Chord Progression Browser, and get ideas going fast!"

I have looked in the Progression Browser and cannot find anything labeled "ambient". Am I missing something? Thanks!

I am sorry, that is a mismatch between the manual and the reality... :?

I have read this on another forum, so these thoughts are not mine:
"Ambience" is not so much about chords, as tempo and production effects.
Almost any chord progression can be made to sound ambient if played slow, smooth and steady, and with plenty of reverb...
;)

I think you can use any pop chord progressions.
Sorry about the confusion.
Thanks,
Attila

Oh, no problem; I thought I was missing something! Thanks Attila!

Yeah that's my bad (I wrote the manual). Really, any pop/diatonic chord progression will work.... with the right instrument or VST. Try using the same chord across 2, 4, or even 8 bars.... then change to something else. That should help a bit.

so I noticed, in the new manual, this paragraph has moved from page 9 to page 4! Does that mean it exists now or just moving around in the manual? :D
