Hi there. I have a Yamaha EZ-AG Midi guitar that works great, except that when I play my softsynths
in Orion, Project 5 etc. the notes stay stuck. I've figured out a way to send a global note off by changing the patch# on the guitar, but this fidily and is a hard note off commnand so no gentle fades.

What I would like is to only play the note on the synth UNTIL I release it.

Or, is there a footpedal for midi that can do a velocity fade out or an all notes off command. Any help would be appreciated.

dude, just touch the sensor at the bridge. Sends an immediate all note off message! Also if you want to filter the fretted midi notes, the short little velocity 16 note that occurs when you push a fret button, than I reccomend the ndc midi velocity range plugin. OSX and WIN! ndc developer "nialM", made it for me personally upon request. Works like a charm :)

Just set the left limit to 17 and put before whatever soft synth you are using and you are all set. The Yamaha EZ-AG is a GREAT midi guitar, very responsive triggers, 0 latency, no tracking to do fret button system, i love it.....cheap too.

Thanks for the help. I'll definately check out these NDC plugs (great!). I'm not sure where the "sensor" is, can you describe its position.

Many thanks!

At the bridge of the guitar dude! Where the strings end and your right hand rests. If you still cant "find it" look in the manual!
