If you do anything for broadcast you need WLM Meter +.
I use CLA compressors all the time - especially on bass and guitars.
SSL4000 is also great, and the SSL bus compressor is really functional.
The Renaissance series of plugs is good but the interfaces need a major update.
I also like the V Series EQ's.
Since May 2013 (original message) I've purchased CLA Compressors and SSL stuff (Studio Classics Collection) and many other Waves and non-Waves plugins. :D
Optimal number of audio plugins is one more than you currently have.

I strongly recommend Kramer Master Tape, the qualities of which I've only recently discovered. Put it in the insert of your mix bus and choose any of the "Mastering" presets. Wow! What a difference! KMT is ideal to add the right amount of glue and analog feel to your mix. IMHO, it sounds better than some of the highly acclaimed mix/bus compressors of other manufacturers.

I agree with Skorpius. Kramer Master Tape is fantastic. And the V-series too.

Yes it is a good plug-in, the J37 Tape is also great.

Give the Abbey Road EMI TG12345 a spin, instant goodness, as is REDD, the NLS, the API collection.

I'm quite partial to the Aphex Vintage Aural Exciter on Vocals, and Reel ADT on vocals or guitars, anything from the Gold bundle, the best $150 I've ever spent, grab it when it's on special if you haven't already, an absolute bargain.

The CLA Signature series and CLA Classic compressors and the JJP Analog Legends are awesome as well.

I'm waiting for the SSL 4000 series to come on sale, but I think I'll be waiting a long time, so I might just have to bite the bullet.

On that subject, could you elaborate? I have both but not using them to this potential because I haven't found their magic yet. Thanks.

Aphex is great, but it's the workhorse stuff I've found most useful and satisfying. MaxxVolume is something I now probably couldn't live without (and L2 as well).
