Thanks for the skin!

Have been checking out this skin with 2.2 today. Although I think there's still some room for improvement, it's much nicer to work with than the default ones. :clap:

Can you get rid of the wooden outline?

Thank you all for your feedback and suggestions. I am glad that you like it.

Following items are on my to-do list for next update:
1. Bigger knobs (on the gui - had to clarify that before someone starts the same old joke)
2. More contrast between knobs and background
3. Section labels are bit fuzzy or too much glow
4. Remove wooden background
5. Remove Blue 2 reference from readme file
6. Improve the indicators around the knobs

Thanks. Blue 2 reference is a mistake, I will update the readme file in next version.

Your skins are really nice. Very well thought out instead of just making up a bunch of bullcrap to show off your skinning chops. When I grow up up I wanna be just like you! :hihi:

Hi Satyatunes,

Since you made a few skins for Dune2 I'm wondering if you have had any troubles with the color of the midinotes in the arp's midi playback?
I'm trying to get a specific orange color but I really can't get the color right, I suspect there is someting wrong with the RGB values.

I attached an image were I have entered both midinote values to 0,255,0. In my mind this should read as green not blue.

Do you have any hints on how to get the wanted color?

Hmmm that is weird. I just tried 253,193,000 which should return an amber color but the actual color in D2 is Pink... :o

It appears that the Blue color is "stuck" at 255 (or at least 170) or not read properly by D2. I'll test further.

EDIT: 000,000,255 returns Black so I don't think the Blue color value is being read properly by D2.

EDIT 2: Oddly enough this returns the exact blue color of the rest of the edit I'm using:

MidiTypeNotesMinColor = 085, 085,085
MidiTypeNotesMaxColor = 000, 000, 255

Perhaps there is some interaction between the values but unfortunately I don't have any more time to test tonight.

At any rate I'm very excited to see a Limeflavour skin. You are one of the first artists I thought of when I learned that user skinning was coming to DUNE 2................. :)

This sounds like some hard coded thing...but that does not make sense as an ini file tends to overwrite any pre-load data. But then again I am talking out of my Image

Hmmm...weird - unzipped into the skins folder however when I fire up Dune it only shows the factory default colours...any idea what I am doing wrong?
