Anyway I've worked some more on the Midi Note issue and I can't seem to figure out what's going on. I assume Min Max values refer to note velocity. I've posted this at the D2 skins forum so we'll see what the official response will be.........might just be a matter of the .ini file needs to be tweaked.

I guess the last few posts have been an unintentional thread hijack. Maybe Limeflavour can start a new thread where we can discuss the .ini file issue..............
And yes thanks once again to satYtunes for all his efforts on the D2 skinning front........

I think Synapse Audio should make this skin the default skin that comes with Dune 2! Beautiful work, Satya!

Why would they do that? They are happy with the default skin, but made it skinable for those who are not. All you have to do is switch skins. Its not exactly difficult.basslinemaster wrote:I think Synapse Audio should make this skin the default skin that comes with Dune 2! Beautiful work, Satya!

@ Satyatunes, I apologize for the offtopic posts that have been made in your thread. It was not my intention.
The Bjulin skin looks fantastic, I don't have the soundbank so I can't use it but it looks great.

I agree that Satya's work is beautiful but also find it hard to read. I will stick with the default or, if in the mood for a change, one of Krim's variations.Kriminal wrote:Why would they do that? (Oh, and Limeflavour's skin looks to be more to my taste as well. To each his own and thank you for all the options.)

If that would be the default skin we all didn't need to extra download and switch to it.Kriminal wrote:Why would they do that? Because, in my opinion, Satyatunes' skin looks better than the original, hence Dune 2 will 'look better' to prospective customers. How do you know they prefer the original skin to Satyatunes' one?Kriminal wrote:Why would they do that? They are happy with the default skin, but made it skinable for those who are not. Or they could just include Satyatunes' skin with the included skins of Dune 2, then you can choose it. Scary.

'Your opinion'... not everyones. If you like it more, use it, problem solved. But dont speak for everyone. My fav colour is blue, does that mean everyones fav colour is blue???basslinemaster wrote:Because, in my opinion, Satyatunes' skin looks better than the original, hence Dune 2 will 'look better' to prospective customers. its not a Synapse skin, its a third party skin. If Synapse include it, they are responsible for any problems etc....im sure they have enough to do...
As it is, there are a few new skins, looks like there will be many more. So everybody has a choice. Its win/win.

Oh no, "any problems etc". Such as?
I bet more people like Satyatunes' skin than the default one. Where did I claim to be "speaking for everyone"...
You'll argue about anything, as your posting history will testify...

Same here, if I want to look at sth beautiful I look at a nice picture - for me the default skin is very comfortable to work with and does not need replacement.bftucker wrote:I agree that Satya's work is beautiful but also find it hard to read.
