  • ・SpectralAutopan – assigns different pan positions to the different component pitches in the input signal. The effect pitch has on pan position is controlled by control points, which can change in pan position and pitch according to LFOs. This adds stereo depth and motion to sounds.
The other four in the bundle didn't do much for me, but this is a little gem!

Loving this thread. :hyper:

Anybody mentioned this?

Eventually something intelligent will appear written here. Watch this space.

Don't think SplineEQ is free? Great little plugin though!

Edit: Hadn't realized there was a free version. It is pretty limited, but probably still worth mentioning.

Yep, it's very interesting, even in the free version: only 4 bands, no preset saving/loading, etc. Also, some latency (like in the full version). Otherwise, you get - or + 24db amplitude increase/decrease and a very informative frequency analyzer. IMO worths a look.

I'm still a fan of NorthPole by Prosoniq. After the recent update to Logic Pro X, the version I had (v1.2.5) stopped working. I contacted Prosoniq/Zynaptiq and got a link to v1.2.6 which works happily in LPX. The URL is in the KVR product page.

I think there are Win/Mac VSTs floating around too, but not sure. A quick google search shows vst4free having links to them, but no idea if they work / are trustworthy.

Zynaptiq said they weren't sure if NorthPole will be continued under the Zynaptiq brand .. so maybe if they have enough interest, they'll keep updating it. Otherwise, its days are probably numbered... Would be a shame to see it go. It's a nice little filter freebie.

Leslie Sanford comes back with 64bit versions of the well recognized former creations,
starting with Sanford Delay, there is also this statement
.....
"My hope is to re-write most of my "freebie" plugins and eventually some (but not all) of my commercial plugins.
When I finish one, it will become available here."

http://www.lesliesanford.com/vst/plugins/

I am excited to see this unexpected come back as I really liked the freebies.
