Facebook bought it, you crazies. Y'know, so people can remix and granulate their friends?
Tangled roots perplex her ways.

Finally, Absynth and Alchemy combined... Absynth 6!fedexnman wrote:So ...... Native Instruments or Apple .... Which one ?
But no I don't think so. NI don't buy such well established products. They get other developers to develop something for them or buy a smaller product (like Absynth 1).
Apple? Doubt it, but if they do it'll probably be AU only, which even though I'm a mac user would be the same as dead to me.

Yeah, I guess.HideawayStudio wrote:Its becoming painfully obvious that they aren't able or permitted to do so.
But at least they also could say explicitly they can't tell a single word about what's going on without telling a single thing about what truly is going on... At least this way we would know that something will be said at some point in the upcoming days.
My 2 cents...

Since we don't know exactly what the situation is, this post seems a *tiny* bit premature.SyntheticAurality wrote:Well, in the middle of a download, got dropped, now Camel Audio site won't recognize my password or email.
Eff Camel Audio, I hope they all end up living under a bridge and selling their families for food.
Most unprofessional exit for a company I had nothing but respect for. Replacing all my Camel gear with other more purpose-made VSTi. May they rot in a pure acid Hell.
Karma is a bitch, and it will come back on you.
Plus, you've got 6 months to download and backup your stuff. Give it a few minutes.

Miranda sang:
"Stand on the bar, stomp your feet, start clapping
I got a real good feelin', somethin' bad about to
happen
Drinks keep comin', throw my head back laughing
Wake up in the morning, Camel know WHAT HAPPENED
Ooh SOMETHIN' BAD...

I wonder if they'll still do license transfers?

That's seems reasonable....until you start to make the ill-founded connections.skorpiorising wrote:Yeah, I guess.HideawayStudio wrote:Its becoming painfully obvious that they aren't able or permitted to do so.

Viral KVR thread growth? Check.
KVRians in Kaos? Check.
NAMM soon? Check.
Who benefits?
Camel was bought out by KVR!!!

Technically, Saying you can't say anything would be saying something. So they probably can't do that either.skorpiorising wrote:Yeah, I guess.HideawayStudio wrote:Its becoming painfully obvious that they aren't able or permitted to do so.

i think the license transfers are part of the Support and this will end in summer, so i guess who wants to have transfered it, needs to get it done before i think, but on the hand it is strange, because this would need to create a new account on CA, so it seems rather an non-logic step.Echoes in the Attic wrote:I wonder if they'll still do license transfers?

If that is the case, these are terms they agreed to. It was a choice they made.HideawayStudio wrote:Its becoming painfully obvious that they aren't able or permitted to do so.
