This is very sad. Hopefully, their products are picked up by another developer and developed further.

For those who want some "sad" music:

For others:
Let's celebrate! Alchemy enters the territory of vintage synths like Moogs and Odysseys! How cool this will be!

I'm sure this must have been speculated at least a few times already but if there is a buy out IK Multimedia might be a likely suspect. They certainly have the resources and the fit might be good given the iOS apps and the fact that IK doesn't have a synth like Alchemy. I'd have mixed emotions if that did happen but it might benefit all concerned.....even the end user. Or it could be a complete circle f*ck.....who knows....that's my love/hate relationship with IK.
urrggh, I wouldnt wish that on anybody. Anyone but them! ;)
Agreed. I would rather slit my wrists than do business with IKM again.
Why? I've purchased plug ins from IK for years and I've yet to have an issue. [snip] I think they'd actually be great stewards of Alchemy.
Let's just agree to disagree then.

Ik own Camel? God no, please God no :help:

If anyone bought them, then I hope it was Fxpansion.

I told Ben a few years ago, how happy and proud I was knowing a UK business was riding along and making great products despite the anormous amount of German and American company's that seem to dominate the scene, he replied with thanks but educated me to the fact that Camel Audio was a multicultural company really with friends developers and users across the globe, so sad though that we are going to loose a product from a company with great ethics on the business and with products that sing of diversity.

Wow that is exactly what I was thinking. They would have to adopt Camels transfer policy though.

Well that escalated quickly overnight... from 21 pages to 64, with even more crazy theories.

And still no official statement it seems.

Really? We all got personalized, hand-written apology letters signed by the entire staff, and a $25 gift card for The Olive Garden. You should email them and demand your endless bread sticks.

nice try. but it just damages their reputation. You can stop it if you love their plugins.
