nice try. but it just damages their reputation. You can stop it if you love their plugins.
Or, I could just be reasonable, not overreact, and wait for an explanation. :tu:

Why they didn't send emails to customers about all this? Not everyone reads forums ....

@speculation: I struggle with this thread. It's clear that a significant changing is in place. It's not someone was hacked, or they will be fine. That seems beyond clear.

It's not unnatural to want to comment on this. In fact, they are a pretty decent part of KVR and all things synth/audio/etc. Some jokes have been made, some speculation, but CLEARLY w/o jumping the gun, something immense has happened

Guess this is why there were no gift camel credits at the end of 2014..
oh this is planned..... :?

Nobody here knows anything at this point. The best we can do for now is hope that it's not bad news for the Camel Audio guys and that they give us some information soon. In the meantime, I spent a few hours in the studio this evening and my CA plugins are still working just fine.

It's great on paper, but companies don't just get into this situation with messages of "thank you for your support" and there is nothing going on.

I have no idea if apple or someone else bought them out, or if they just gave up, but it's w/o doubt something significant.

...I wouldn't be surprised by that Izotope theory, though. It makes sense. Even when you limit thoughts just to spectral part of Alchemy, correct me if I'm wrong, but I still think Alchemy managed few tricks that Iris couldn't. If they got it even better in the new version, Izotope might buy them to null the competition.

Look what happened with Steve Duda's Serum and the Codex synth by Waves. I'm sure they were working hard at Waves and they had some economical expectations for it, but Steve released Serum, synth that blows it out of the water in every aspect, just week before them. That might be scenario Izotope could be afreaid of.

...but it's still juuuust speculations.

My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

I much prefer Codex over Serum, to each their own though.

I know very little about Serum. I guess I feel I have enough synths. Codex sounded great to me, and I even bought it. But before I registered it, I saw significantly higher CPU use in studio one and bitwig.....so I sold it at the price I paid. Kinda bummed about that.

But I still use element all the time :hyper:

Hey! I've never recieved any award! Thanks! :D ...obviously we know nothing yet and yeah, I should add "in my opinion" in that Codex part, but all I wanted to say is that if someone really bought them, iZotope makes a little bit more sense to me than Apple.
