Really enjoying this thread chaps. See if you can make it 100 pages by 12.00 GMT. That's just over 4 hours from now.

nvm.
The other replies just came in too quickly.
My main tools: Kontakt, Omnisphere, Samplemodeling + Audio Modeling. Unify = godsend. Tari's libraries also rock.

As more confidential info is coming in we now know that The Queen herself bought CA, as she wants the devs to build a little keyboard for her latest grandchild, Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge. Ben was knighted by The Queen herself last night and is already developing the new toys for little George in a secret castle in Scottland.

Flabbergasted.
This is up there with Abbey Road dropping the Cool Stuff Labs developed plug-ins, Team DNR's Reason faking his own death and the BIAS peak debacle.
I lost a few hundred dollars on AR, $39 or whatever on DNR mixcontrol pro, and almost two grand on Peak.
Luckily for me, I think I've got less than a hundred in Camel crap (ha!), with some nice credit discounts (donated for Planet Earth and Water, too).
I've almost bought Alchemy a few times, on sale and not... but couldn't convince myself vs. other purchases, etc.
I'll keep my pseudo-cursing what I've already said and say: what a CRAP way to treat your customers!
(Yes, you take your chances and the stuff works for work while it's supported/developed, and maybe to some degree after support and development are dropped... but really, it's dead after that in my book.)
Even if they/he come(s) through somehow and all is forgiven, somebody got some splainin' to do.
Condolences, especially to those with bigger investments... been there with my Peak experience (f. you, Steve B., Reason, etc. and probably this Ben character, too... y'all'll get what you deserve in the end).

You have the award for "most understanding of a situation w/o actually knowing what the f**k he was thinking" and you get a free bowl of soup with that!cryophonik wrote:I didn't get it, either.
