After this has closed down the only people with any interest would be
1 Collectors of crap, no "Look what we have done" crew of crackers will give a flying f**k about some discontinued software.
2 Developers of said discontinued software who will not give a flying f**k about some torrents if they have been destroyed financially from putting it out there and are now just closing up shop with no explanation and never want to hear about said software again (unlikely by the way), or have sold their IP on, and have made so much money they don't even give a f**k about anything ever again (Most likely)
3 Somebody desperate because they have lost their back ups and really need to download and get rid of those last few tracks using these plugins.

Lets get one thing straight, no matter how the high and mighty around here type garbage upon garbage, CameAudio where never your friends, they where never a 'Stand up company' more than any other company, and they would have sold their collective left b*llock if it set them up for life.
This is business, nothing more, and if you are a business man with kids and somebody offers you the chance to be not only set for life but your kids set for life, you quite literally rip their hand off, and nobody but nobody with their high and mighty holier than though attitudes in this thread would do any different whatsoever ;)
Now THIS is a 100%, pure, whole grain cynic posting. Good one!!!!

I dont think the date when the waybackmachine last scraped camel's website can be correlated with anything to be honest. all we know is that the page in question has been changed since July 2nd 2014. its the last time any of camel's pages were archived at WBM, as far as I can tell.

The fact that on approximately january 7th we got until July 7th (ie probably exactly 6 months) to download files is where there's some significance, but it doesnt indicate anything about a timescale of any events prior to that.

I can backup everything except for the factory preset file, it keeps failing with an error message.

Filed to who? Inland Revenue? Could just be a tax return... which reminds me, must get mine done by the 31st :scared:

Yeah. We really have no clue about everything. God job you're here to educate us all...

I assume personal/financial problems as reason...
If they were just closing up shop, there would probably be more of an explanation. But this too is just speculation.

Last scrape was Jan 3rd 2015.

Not all pages are scraped though, and you can step back to see when snapshots are taken. The most recent privacy policy is from July last year, as I already posted.

I found that the download worked best when I re-started the downloader.
When I got the "can't download" once, I seemed to keep getting it until I restarted.
After that I was most of the time able to download at least some stuff.
Also try late at night/early in the morning.

Cheers,

Tom

Ah, yes, a gem of projection. 'Because I'd be a c**t, everyone else would be a c**t'.
