To summarize what we actually know to be true:
1. Camel Audio no longer sells anything on their store or the Apple App store. It seems some 3rd party resellers are a little slower to stop selling so far.
2. No one from Camel Audio has posted on this, or any other forum, as to why this is the case.
3. Registered users can login to the CA website and download installers and soundest for what they own until July 7 2015.
4. It's not possible to re-download the Alchemy mobile app or the in-app-purchases. There are some tools to save off what you currently have on a mobile device though: http://discchord.com/blog/2015/1/9/rest ... grade.html
And to summarize the speculation (and a bit of emotional hysteria) on this thread:
1. CA went out of business because of EU tax laws.
2. a personal tragedy happend.
3. the source code was lost.
4. Apple/Spectrasonics/NI/u-he/Cockos/pick-your-company bought them.
5. We'll know the answer at NAMM.
6. We'll know the answer at summer NAAM.
7. We'll never know the answer.
8. CA knowingly screwed all its users.
9. CA was a good company and wouldn't screw all their users.
10. CA was in financial trouble.
11. CA was financially fine.
12. CA screwed the sound designers it employed.
13. CA was very kind and generous to the sound designers it employed.
14. CA cared about its user-base.
15. CA was yet another company that was only in it to make money.
16. Piracy made this happen.
17. Since a user can now change their contact info on the support page it's legal to resell Alchemy.
18. After July 7 it should be ok to obtain Alchemy by any other means.
19. A guy I met at a pub who I really trust told me Apple bought them, so that's true.
20. CA should offer refunds because...well because!
21. The CA terms-of-service has changed at some point in the near past.
I'm sure I missed a few conspiracy theories and other sub-threads.
Feel free to return to the full-on speculation and witch hunt.

I mean, we mourned for deceased developers, the community tried to get in touch with certain other developers to revive specific tools (Synth1 comes to mind), people jump in on charity sales and the cancer treatment sale for Nomad Factory's main developer.
I agree with Tricky-Loops...
If something was up, or seriously going wrong... the community would have kicked of an avalanche to help the company. Assuming that they didn't bit their backs before.
It's the weekend, let's wait a couple of days. Maybe answers will come in through either source. Close friends, retailers, etc. And answers would really be great, to stop the theories as well.
