Camels are really inflationary cheap nowadays it seems. Or women are exceptionally expensive. Either was, used to be different when i was young

Just for funsies I type in my specs and I'd still fetch 51 camels. I'd get probably more if i had bigger boobs, but then I'm a dude and I'd like to wait some more years before getting real man boobs

I've already experienced some personal tragedy with Camel Audio as I had the honor to work with Tim Conrardy on a few sound design projects and was on the beta team with him on a very very early version of Chameleon.

We shared interests in the Atari ST format and the DX7 and were just starting to work on getting the patches I collected from DX Android format to modern .syx format when he died. His death was a personal and professional loss for me so perhaps my concern over this episode in the Camel Audio story is tempered by the past.

No I don't think anyone has died but the interactions I had with the rest of the CA team however brief were nothing but positive and left me with the impression that these are truly good people. So sue me for being concerned about them and their future.

This is true and as I posted many pages back if someone offered me a deal I shouldn't refuse I'd take it in a heartbeat. But I'd also like to think I would have the morals not to screw over the people who supported me for years. As I just said the impression I got from the CA team is that they too have those same morals and would not screw over existing users. We still don't know what has happened but I would be surprised if Ben and Co would just say Sod Off............

I'm not saying that couldn't happen just that I would be very surprised if it did.........

I have it on good authority that Camel Audio was taken out by the NSA, who have been red-flagging the word "Camel" for years now. Anyone having any association at all with Camels is automatically assumed to be a threat to world peace.

They had it coming, really they did. Couldn't they have called themselves St. Kilda Mouse Audio, or something?
