Fair enough, but a piece of hardware has a chance of lasting a lifetime. Software Is immediately doomed the moment development and/or support stops.

Case in point: there is nothing like a vintage DOS application that still looks and sounds great in Windows 7

The downside is that there is probably a parallel, but younger and happier universe with a bunch of KVRians whooping it over the release of Alchemy 3, now with sub-space resynthesis.

The upside is we won't live long enough to have supersaw debates with them.

Ableton isnt eating company, look at their instrument device they do rather partner with companies like you can with Cycling'74 or AAS. the same goes for the Instrument packs, that way the partner company got free hands to come up with something new.

still hope and think, nobody bought them, i mean CA webpage is up for almost 7 months to grab your stuff, thats not the way something works out, when you buy a company.

i just think they will relaunch with new concepts and new location.
