That's what I find so ironic. A company that prided itself on having non-giant corporation practices bending over so readily for exactly that. It's hard to imagine u-he doing that.

No amount of thinking can "only makes things worse". The facts are going to be the facts no matter what we think or wish or want or believe.........

"Hope for the best prepare for the worst" applies to pretty much every situation in life. Even relatively unimportant situations like whether some plugins will live on or not.........

I heard they're on an Island somewhere with Lennar and Dennis.

They spend their day laughing at KVR

"Expect the worst and then be pleasantly surprised when it doesn't happen", but then I'm a miserable old g*t.

Oh we are suffering so much from not hearing from those Camel guys aren't we! Why did they have to go and ruin this great product by not speaking to us! ;) (I jest but I too am slightly worried that Alchemy will at some point not work on some future system without a proper replacement)

I suppose we could ditch the whole capitalism thing and just get state funded VST developers to make our synths for us. They are typically much more innovative with excellent customer service. The USSR made a few sweet analog synths so you never know right?

Either that or we'll have to continue to suffer through being able to freely decide what developers to support for providing us with tools they freely decided to make in whatever kind of business structure they decided to make them with.

Seriously though, I'm sure it won' t be long before some surprise announcement of who they teamed up with. All that work ain't just going to disappear. I'm sure their announcement strategy won't depend much on us KVR folk who lose our shit if a developer doesn't tell what's going on every day on a music forum.
