Perhaps this is a clue ? Could have easily stated;

Who created this thread? Why hasn't he posted again? Maybe he's connected to CA? If so title might say something- CA ceasing sales.. someone else picking up where CA left off?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest the Exxon bought Camel Audio. It's as much of a plausible explanation as any other in the total vacuum of information that surrounds this rather undesirable news.

But seriously, this reeks of IP buyout with an associated NDA. If it was anything other than this, then the lawyers or the receivers would be milking the Camel Audio IP for as much money as they can get out of it before it goes poof. Instead, they don't even make an announcement and simply stated no more purchases from us; have a nice day. That means whomever bought them will want to re-extract your money all over again ... oh goodie.

And whomever they are ... will have lots of money to buy out this IP, patents, sound libraries and the customers; and this clearly outweighed the cost to create a duplicate of software from scratch.

I have my favourites, as I'm sure you do it. So let's just wait for NAMM 2015 (January 22-25) when all the news will probably reveal itself.
Uses Live 9 and lots of VSTs

I dread to think what will happen with this thread if there's no announcement at NAMM.

Soon it will outgrow KVR, pictures of gurning Camels will dominate the web forcing cats to the brink of extinction. As the internet plunges deeper into chaos, Apple will be powerless to stop the rise of the Camel Army and will reluctantly sell the company back to Ben. Shortly afterwards Alchemy 2 will be released.

Maybe Akai brought Camel Audio?

Perhaps it's time for a "Who bought Camel" Poll :D

The suspense is killing me. :cry:

Perhaps the release of information is contingent on this thread reaching 200 pages. Obviously, if that is the case, some members on this site haven't been pulling their weight. It is incumbent on them to post some nonsense here in this thread as a matter of urgency!

If it is really a take over or buy out, this method seems to be one of the best promos for the new TBA brand / product.

Just had to have my two cents say. Really need to contribute to blowing up this thread as an avid Camel Audio plugin user.
It don't mean a thing IIAGTS :D
