Even if he's pulling our leg - let's assume that this is really true.

The host in question was once PC/Mac, until a certain company "bought it up" and dropped all PC support. I still remember the outcries from back in the days.

Camel Audio was cross-platform. Let's assume for a moment that the synth and plugins resurface again as bundled software - or maybe even as "Alchemy 2", but Mac only. Way to go how to piss off a userbase (in this case, the PC users) - again.

But at least, there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel for iOS users - if that tweet is really telling the truth. But half of the desktop users are forked.

Then again... if it's indeed an 8-figure deal... that's at bar minimum (if I'm not mistaken): 10million.
Not too shabby if I may say so.

I think they will bundle it up with Logic, it won't appear as separate instrument (if they bought it that is)

Glad I'm a Logic user then, we might find an Alchemy LFO scattered somewhere across the DAW, they can keep the sample non-editor for Garageband.
