If it is Apple, and CA was bought out for an 8 figure sum... good on you lads. You earned it (I would have done the same). Gutted there will not be an A2 (surely there won't be, for PC in anyway, but I have a feeling IP will be absorbed and incorporated in other ways by Apple), but that's the way it goes. Things / plans change and we have to adapt. No point in bickering over the mac vs pc dilly, or anything like that.

I think he meant "self-unfulfilling prophecy". Which, I have to admit, I've never heard of, but I guess there could be such a thing...ATS wrote:Sjefke wrote:Is there any proof to the rumor of apple buying out Camel audio, or is this the kind of selfulfilling proficy that never seems to work out...
lol this makes no sense, a self fulfilling prophecy is something that does happen, oh forget it...
You need to limit that rez, bro.

If Apple bought CA and shaft us PC users... I will not have so much hate for pirates anymore...

According to their currently appraised value, A 10 million dollar acquisition would cost them roughly .0000142857 of their total value. Haha... So whatever contribution to their ecosystem they expect from this transaction, it doesn't exactly have to be central to their missionstandalone wrote: Once again, minimum ten million dollars to code AU plugins? I don't know.

At booth 6520 at NAMM, an Apple competitor will announce a paradigim shift, yielding
down to 2ms roundtrip audio performance for Android 4.0 and newer devices
that have usb/otg support. So there is some competitive interest in smallish devices
having their audio potential maximized. 2015 will be a good year, regardless
which tent(s) the Camel pokes it's nose under.

I have a theory that finally wraps all of this up and several other mysteries, including the Grassy Knoll gunman, jack the Ripper, and Bigfoot.

Unless as an expectant Alchemist, you were hoping in 2015 that Alchmey 2 would be released. Just like we did in 2014. The difference now is that the chance has gone from slim to none.glokraw wrote:At booth 6520 at NAMM, an Apple competitor will announce a paradigim shift, yielding
