Nfr? Did you win it in a contest? Second hand licenses can be resold. Only second hand sound banks are NFR.kloon wrote:My copy of Alchemy is NFR, but i have around 15 soundbanks or so that are not. Waiting to hear back from them.

Seems like they are responding to the pile-up of support requests they've no doubt received. They've got back to me also, license transfers are possible, with no fees. Sounds like they are gonna try and get the user content back up too. CamelCredits are, as suspected, no longer valid.

ahh yes EDU is 50% off, therefore NFR. means i cant sell my license too.kloon wrote:It's an edu license!audientronic wrote:Nfr? Did you win it in a contest? Second hand licenses can be resold. If you clone your drives then there is no reason to ever have to re-install Alchemy anyway .
Dunno about everyone else but i always have two cloned drives because im a smarmy smart arse

Well, I'm about to loose my shit... Been trying to back up my files via the stupid installer program (never been a fan of those consolidated downloady things, but in the CA world it makes sense) for 2 days now, and it keeps on being weird. It stops downloads halfway, spits outs errors, and when I delete everything in the DL folder and restart the DL program, it says some of the downloads just need updates (which is bull, as the dir is empty). I will do a manual download, but it's such a PITA, as the download section (due to being a beta tester) is an utter clusterf*ck [QUITE unorganized
]. Fun fun

Guys, do not use the installer program, just manually download the files and installers from your accounts. Once Camel goes dark that installer is worthless anyway.....

It also helps to use a downloader when dl'ing manually. Something like iGetter for instance.

I believe the Camel policy was that EDU versions could be resold provided the new buyer satisfied the EDU requirements. Perhaps someone can inquire?Ameyah Audio wrote:ahh yes EDU is 50% off, therefore NFR. means i cant sell my license too.kloon wrote:It's an edu license!audientronic wrote:Nfr?
