Finally got it together and started up my website. Its far from complete, but I've put some initial sample downloads up. The basic plan for the site is to give some sounds back to the community as well as post my songs for download/feedback. For now, all the sounds are 100% royalty-free for use in your music (see included licence.txt in the rar)

So far all the sounds will be in Reason NN-XT format (.wavs rar'ed /w the sxt preset file), but you can use them in any sampler quite easily. I'm not using any really funky mod stuff in NN-XT so even just mapping the .wavs in your favourite sample will be close to the original preset.

I'm also thinking of switching to the .sfz format at some point once a good editor/converter is released for the format.

Anyway, enough talk, get downloading!

Bumping this since I posted at 3am last night... I've got quite a few downloads so far - and 100 views of this thread. What do you guys think of the samples?

well so far not the kind of feedback I'd hoped for on kvr

Oh well, I'm not dead yet! (in the immortal words of the black knight!)

More samplesets are up and I changed the design to something much more aesthetically pleasing. Don't worry about all the stuff on the site re: registration. No registration is required for downloading, or anything else. All that is just there because I haven't figured out how to remove it yet

Well, your samples are hard to find (im dumb) and there is no mention about the copyright. Are they free to use in a commersial sing?

Also...U upload sounds that u have used in your old songs...hmmm secondhand sounds...how about fresh stuff.

they are in downloads, on the left menu bar. the license is included with each download in .txt format. Basically, use them however you like royalty-free but redistribution is prohibited.

I've only used one sample I've posted (Star Control) in a song so far. Anyway, what does it matter? Tons of people use nskit, or other good free samples in their tracks and that doesn't hurt you from using them in your tracks.

I'm currently browsing your site--nice colors, only if font size could be a bit larger, so blind ol' Jazz doesn't have to resize browser zoom

I don't use Reason but definitely interested in voice-pad and fm-guitar--is it OK if I re-make them into DS404 banks?

Cheers Jazz! I will look at enlarging the fonts a bit if I can - actually will probably just ask the php guy that helped me design it

Yeah, do whatever you like with the samples. I realize most of you guys don't have Reason, thats why I don't distribute as a close refill - you can map the .wavs in any sampler you want. Just please don't redistribute in ds404 or whatever format.

Hopefully in the future I can distribute in .sfz format, which everyone can use.

Thanks my friend. sampling is hard work and you are very cool to give it away. i'll be sampling some stuff this summer and hopefully repay all the generous folk at kvr.

I know alot of people that use Reason too - but kvr is more about open-standards and all that
