After a few unfortunate ripples, I came up with a good tip for using the Silent Way Voice Controller in your DAW.
Tip: Be sure to write fader automation at "Unity" on the channel which has the Silent Way Voice Controller on it, this will prevent you from bumping the level accidentally. Moving the fader will affect the voltages generated by the plugin. If you have automation written which holds the fader at unity, the level will be correct every time.

Additional Tip:
Put the instrument containing the Silent Way Voice Controller in "Solo safe" mode, this way if you solo the inputs from your synth the signal driving them will not become muted.
