An idiot on Set Theory:

Has anyone criticising Camel for "not caring about their customers anymore" considered that Ben might actually have had to negotiate for this whole 6 month continued support period? Seems quite a decent length of time compared to the Redmatica buyout.

So...is the Groundhog reference is meant to imply that TSC has bought out Camel and will be forcing Ben and company to wear well-starched dress shirts to work in the chic DSP district of London? Guess we'll find out in early February. Repeatedly.lnikj wrote:Hunter - I suspect you're the only person on this thread who knows the truth. You can help us all escape the cycleHunter wrote:

True. And, I'm aghast - Alchemy Audio Alliteration Assonance Ahscillator, abhorrently absent.whyterabbyt wrote:Good start, but needs even moar alliteration.mandolarian wrote:Slamming Simon, an artist who shares his amazing skills, creativity and artistry with us - at super reasonable prices, so we can explore and expand our own creativity, as mere 'preset salesman' is so far down the path of misguided malcontent misery that what you evoke is pity, not laughter.

A classic. I can watch it over and over again. It seems like the same movie the first few hundred times, but then...trimph1 wrote:Bill Murray is great in that role.mandolarian wrote:So...is the Groundhog reference is meant to imply that TSC has bought out Camel and will be forcing Ben and company to wear well-starched dress shirts to work in the chic DSP district of London? Don't dramatse so much. The people I'm talking about are neither employed by Camel nor are owed any special treatment by them.Spip wrote:Laugh, really ?samsam wrote:What makes me laugh most about these threads is the indignation of the preset salesman who've made money off of the synth. Just wait to wake up one morning and see that your job doesn't exist anymore without knowing why...

That was the most moving thing I've ever read on Kvr. I'm humbled.mandolarian wrote:Enjoy your laughter. If this is how you get laughs, then enjoy the sound of a lonely smug laugh. Your inner rage against 'the man' has deafened you to some exquisite sounds. That's your loss.
Slamming Simon, an artist who shares his amazing skills, creativity and artistry with us - at super reasonable prices, so we can explore and expand our own creativity, as mere 'preset salesman' is so far down the path of misguided malcontent misery that what you evoke is pity, not laughter.
Savour the bitterness - if that's what keeps you a happy and productive member of KVR.

This thread is full of people stating how bad Camel are and how THEY would have done it all differently. Just for their people, like. I call bullshit. My opinion, that's all.
