Hello! I need help, sorry if this long winded but I’m out of ideas!

Sooo here goes….

So I have a new modular set up featuring Expert Sleepers ES-40, ES-7, ESx-8CV and a Makenoise Echophon. They’re connected to a Mac with S/PDIF via a Focusrite Saffire Pro 14. The DAW I’m using is Cubase 8.

So when audio is played from the computer there is definitely a signal picked up (the LEDs flash on the ESX-8CV), though for some reason there is no input/output routing available for the S/PDIF channels through Cubase.

I have set up the VST Connections page in Cubase to make these channels available and there’s nothing showing up when I change the channel inputs to the S/PDIF input. I’m still hearing audio through the sound card input but not via Cubase.

Not sure if it’s a problem with the Cubase setup, the Saffire Setup, or both.

In other news,

There is a problem with actually receiving a signal into the ES-7. I’ve tried plugging an IPad into it and there’s no sound (not sure if this is something to do with mono/stereo patch cables but would like to know if that makes a difference).

I am getting a signal from the Echophon to the ES-40, though it’s pretty much just digital distortion.

In fact all the sound coming from the outboard setup is pretty clippy. :/

Anyone know anything of any use?

THANK YOU!!!
