heroes, subs, hoagies, and grinders dont have slices of bread...they are on a split roll. open faced sandwiches have only one piece of bread and the "something" sits on top and not in the middle.jancivil wrote:A sandwich has slices of bread and something in the middle. That is its form. Form before content, one could define as 'formulaic'. So it makes sense to some people and more people knew what the OP was talking about than didn't, I think.
i think people "think" they knew what he meant...but they didnt because it has no meaning. people just respond as though they knew...as you responded like you knew about what a sandwich was.
and now we have people all talking about different things while thinking they are talking about the same thing.

What a load. Jesus. I think everyone but you knows what I meant by 'slices of bread'. I'm sure you do but you for some strange reason hope to deploy silly semantics to obfuscate even this generalistic metaphor. (Instead of meeting the actual point.) Form in preference to content kind of amounts to 'formulaic'. In addition I've said that 'formulaic' by that measure doesn't have to mean an impoverished approach. I feel fairly sure that 'formulaic' conveyed to people and unless they're you, it's meaningful enough.
I'm sure I know what a f**king sandwich is, too.
You're offended, basically. See if you can buy a sense of humor about it.
EDM sucks, dude.

no one is forcing anyone to eat sandwiches (or mayo jan, so youre safe)
but a good sandwich can be had if youre willing to search through the bad ones...
im beginning to think this metaphor is stretching in to a baguette. ..

Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

I'm pretty sure he meant "tarnce". There's a lot of info on tarnce here at KVR.chaosWyrM wrote:lol...how would he know?mumpcake wrote:Amit Duvdevani of Infected Mushroom wrote: So to do a good trance track is 100 times harder than doing a normal song.
