Alright I've released SplineEQ 1.1.4 with the Tracktion fix.

Tested in 32bit T5, working ok.

Webpage for the download still says 1.1.3, but the file is the latest version (1.1.4).

Many Thanks :)

Sorry I missed your reply in your forum, I answered now.

Spline EQ is on sale at Plugin Boutique now.
I tried the free one but with the limited amount of bands it's not easy to compare it.
Any opinions?
Anybody compared it to DDMF LP10?
Thanks in advance.

Is it such a big difference between 4 points and 60?

Anyway, there's a whole bunch of reviews here: http://www.kvraudio.com/product/splinee ... er/reviews (also this http://www.musicradar.com//reviews/tech/splineeq-547726 ) but you know how enthusiastic reviewers tend to be.

hi, thanks for the reply. I think you need more points for 1 curve. When I tried it in a project I needed some more curves so I had to make several instances of the plugin.
But I will try the free version some more.

Spline EQ is the unique toolbox for surgical EQ:ing.

I wouldn't want to be without it (the paid for version, that is). Highly recommended.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Thanks - no more freezing. Unfortunately whatever you did to fix this in Tracktion has broken the resolution knob, the dotted line no longer snaps to the curve when you increase the resolution in Tracktion 5.

I don't think the two are related. Do you by any chance have the Colour Gain turned all the way down to 0?

From the start I disabled the visualisation when the the colour gain is turned to 0 in case many people would hate the visualisation and how much CPU it takes (this wasn't the only time that my expectation of what people would mind was way off), however it also breaks other things like the updating of the curves (but doesn't affect the actual changes in processing). I should probably remove it since no one even ever wanted the visualisation gone.

What about a simple switch "Visualisation on/off"?

Exact same thing and exact same problem. As it is at 0 it acts as it's off, otherwise as it's on.

The problem is when it's off it avoids doing too many things. I could either fix that to disable just what it needs or more simply I could do away with the whole off thing since I don't think it really has a reason to be.

Nope - and it's working fine in Studio One with the same settings.
