Camel Audio was profitable, solvent, successful and had great prospects. Whether they've been bought as a going concern or whether they've been assimilated, perhaps the only surprise is that a very-nearly-ready Alchemy 2 wasn't released first. Either someone has plans to release it or the code/research involved is going to be broken down and used as parts in something else. Either way, it may be more expensive or, indeed, impossible for existing Alchemy owners to get access to Alchemy 2 technology. And we may never find out exactly what happened. Not much else to say, really, except that Alchemy 1 is still great. Roll on 4000 posts!
