Yeah, so I really like this thing. Reminds me a lot of Orion. Is it possible to paint playlist items? How do I loop the playlist? This thing is really awesome

No, thats not what i have.benderillo wrote: I guess what you have is this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/q1ycfh45ro77y8w/CMM.7z
This is my version of Chaotic and license key.
Like i said, the installer that i have came directly from the Chaotix website and it has a license file already built in. (In other words it is integrated in the installer itself, not a separate file.) This was the last installer that could be downloaded before the website was closed.
Heres the 'registered to':

The reason why im hesitant to just upload it and share it is this:
The registered version is another story though, and since the installer i have already includes a license file it definitely qualifies as a registered version.
So what to do? Comply with the terms because thats what License.txt still says after installation or disregard it on the grounds that the software has gone open source?
Like i said, id be glad to share the installer, but then we all know that the old adage 'no good deed goes unpunished' is probably the truest saying in the universe, so im a little hesitant here...

So the unregistered program could be shared freely. (Pretty much.)Chaotic DAW License wrote: You may not [...] transfer the licensed program [...] . Any such unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this license [...] .

Aannd I've again lost the installer with the built-in registration that was once on the site. Grr. Spit.
In other news, it seems the original developer is beginning work on this again. He started a blog a few months ago about it.

Register an account on Github, then go to the "Issues" tab of the project and submit a new issue. That will send an email to the developer notifying that a new issue has been submitted.Touch The Universe wrote:anyone have any idea how to get in contact with the developer?
