Yeah, I figured it out. I went to the top left and changed "usa" to "united kingdom" (as someone pointed out, but I just missed where it was)

So these RED plugins are third incarnation of the same plugins?

Forte and Midnight have been confirmed to be the same audio engine with different gui:

This sounds like a serious rip off if they sell the same plugins for $99 and $299.

Having said that, I've always liked Midnight Suite, owned it for years. Not my go-to anymore, but I once in a while go back to it. Always thought it was great value for money. I even liked the EQ back then, haven't tested it in a while now tho.

I just did some further reading and it seems that ISA range and RED range (hardware) are essentially the same sound wise. And Forte hardware console has ISA modules 110 EQ and 130 comp.

This makes it a bit easier to understand how the same plugin design can come up as Forte (ISA), Midnight (ISA) and RED (Red).

They seem to be pretty much the same as hardware also.

I'm not sure how acceptable this is tho, it's quite misleading marketing, considering the prices. Especially as they sell Midnight and RED side by side and don't tell officially that the plugins are the same (as it seems, I don't know for sure..)

Forgive my pedantry but:

- The Forte console was actually inline, not modular.
- The Studio console was built by converting Forte to modules.
- The ISA 110/130 were modules for the Studio console.
- The Forte Suite plugin is a model of the Studio ISA110/130 modules (slight misnomer, but the difference really is pedantry, given that Forte->Studio was effectively sawing pcbs into three parts)
- The Red range was a reimagining of the ISA series (which were vertical racks) as horizontal outboard gear. There's some circuitry improvement, but certainly nothing that kills the vibe.

By all means, just quoted some pages I found through googling;

This is a sweet surprise to find essentially a free set of tools available to me as a long time PRO 14 owner. I didn't even know that Focusrite had any plugins available until I saw it on Facebook an hour ago.

I was looking at the page for the Midnight series, and it says that it's available for all PRO series owners, yet I don't see an activation code for it in my account? How do I go about getting one?

I did a null test also between Midnight Suite and RED Suite, they seem to be - if not 100 % same - atleast VEEEERRRY close. The values are exactly the same and EQ seems to null at default freq values (setting gains up and down).

When setting some other freq values some differences may appear, but the peaks of inverted tracks do not go higher than -80db, which is inaudible at least to me.

Compressors seems to null at defaults and same again, some minor differences when trying to match same values, but nothing audible, peaks around -70-90db.

The knobs move by slightly different steps, which makes it a bit difficult to match settings other than defaults, but I can't hear any difference if the inverted tracks produce only -70db max.

First time I did this kind of test, so try it out yourself if you are interested.

I will post my technical results - once I get to testing.

I'm currently stuffed with work and my body also did a couple of "force shut-downs" recently due to pulling all nighter's during the course of the last two months (working for a Theater asks for many last minute changes!). This causes a lot of delays. Sorry about that.
