I would be happy to hear what you do with those :). IMHO, Hip Hop music allows for different kinds of sounds that wouldn't normally fit well into a typical EDM track. You sometimes hear Hip Hop synth parts hitting much higher notes, so it's important to have sounds that sound good in those higher registers. Also, with slower tempos, sounds with slower attacks can fit pretty well. Plus, you get sounds loosely inspired by 70s funk tracks, with a modern edge added. That's what I enjoy so much about Hip Hop sound design - trying to do things specific to the genre, while also avoiding too many EDM conventions.
