Not got anything by CA.

I would've been a bit miffed if I'd bought just before they shut up shop I think.

But sh!t happens! Can't control everything, and there's always a risk that the company you're investing in will sell-up, go under, or just give up for some other personal reason.

With Win10 round the corner there's always the remote possibility that stuff won't work on it that worked fine on previous versions, and you won't necessarily know that until it happens. Perhaps someone using the prerelease/beta version will fire up Alchemy and see? It's looking like later in the year for a proper release, so the support date of July'15 for CA stuff might fall to early for any problems like that.
