It's nothing more than what sean said...
It's like I know a man who knows someone who lives with ...blah blah blah.

'This Thread Is A Masterpice' - my suggestion for the Thread's rename; misspelling intentional.

Ah...please don't stop now. This is the sort of unsubstantiated 3rd hand rumour mongering that unfounded speculation is built on.trimph1 wrote:...I know a man who knows someone who lives with ...blah blah blah.

What's a little confusing to me, although maybe it shouldn't be - is that if CA's disappearance is truly that big of a deal that warrants 4,000 posts on KVR, then why doesn't someone here who has Ben's personal contact info simply give him a call or whatever, and ask him point blank what he can or cannot say about CA?
He may refer you to an attorney - but at least that's something -

Perhaps nobody knows where the Camel Crew are!!!goldenanalog wrote:then why doesn't someone here who has his personal contact info simply give Ben a call
Everything might be so hush hush because even the authorities don't know where Camel Audio are. Rumour has it that the cleaner turned up to work one day and nobody was there...but on Ben's desk there was a cup of coffee which was still warm

I am just surprised no one has suggested setting up a page to let everyone download everything because they are no longer for sale....

What I find a bit odd is that none of the Camel crew who have Linkedin entries have updated them - they all say they are still with CA.
And they have fairly extensive Linkedin entries so they obviously cared enough to spend time on them at some point.
If the gang had split up and headed off to various different roles, you'd think at least one of them would have updated Linkedin to that effect, so my highly tenuous supposition is that the team is still working together, but for a company that doesn't want them revealing to the world where they are just yet ...

It's a bit early for that sort of logical response. Need at least 10,000 posts before we get to actual facts. At least, I hope so.goldenanalog wrote:What's a little confusing to me, although maybe it shouldn't be - is that if CA's disappearance is truly that big of a deal that warrants 4,000 posts on KVR, then why doesn't someone here who has Ben's personal contact info simply give him a call or whatever, and ask him point blank what he can or cannot say about CA?

Poor LinkedIn followers of the CA guys once they do update their profiles and everybody gets 230 spam mails with useless LinkedIn notifications:
Ben has had a hair translpant, do you want to congratulate him?
Ben now has a Porsche, do you want to kick his ass for it?
Ben now has an iPhone 10, do you want to ring him up and tell him, what a wanker he was?

I can't find any social media activity from any of these people. Couple of the guys seem to be involved with Humanoid Sound Systems.
@Camel. I bet your having a right chuckle over this

Oh...Ok....wanna take a little drive by the Camel King's house, then?mpreed wrote:Nah - I'm an IT contractor in the same town as him - I want a job off him!
If your timing is good, maybe he'll be out in front mowing his lawn with the new 25,000 dollar riding mower he just bought.
Or maybe he'll be out in front, alright - and then run inside when he sees you slowing down and looking-
Either way: let us know, and then maybe we'll speculate, mpreed.
Maybe.
