Yamaha o1v w/ digi002 rack

Hey all,
One of my professors just got a digi002 rack, and wants to hook up his yamaha o1v as a control surface. He's running the latest version of LE (6.1 I think). I called digidesign and they said there is a way to do it, but they didn't want to enlighten me (yeah--GREAT customer support!). Could someone help us out? We aren't sure where or how in protools to configure it for usage. It's probably soething really stupid and easy, but I'm just not well-versed at doing this kind of stuff.

DISCLAIMER--Yes, I know the better option would have been to spring for the 002 with the integrated control surface, but the school wouldn't give us that much money, so that's why we're doing it this way.
