None really john. As for the contest I am being as stubborn-headed as I am with most of my music. I never was much into metel and wouldn't even know where to begin listening for inspiration (although in a way I look forward to listening to the other comp tracks).

As for this tune; this is merely expressing and translating my running emotions at the moment. Never really seriously meant as metal, just my own music

great tune though, some lovely little sequences and noises in there, all that hardware control is good for you......

the piano sounds really good against all of the sweeps and arps, in my opinion maybe a bit loud on occasional notes though.

Yeah I know Steve, having that velocity-sensitive piano in there, there were some notes, just being played too hard. Since this is really a one-take recording there is no way I can edit the single notes. This was in a way more of a daring enterprise for me to play piano in here in the first place, since I still need to learn to play the keys more properly.

It was a long time since I did a more hardware oriented track, but it felt good to be playing with all keys again

oh dont worry about that he hears drums in his head all the time

but it means hes damn fine at puttin down sludgecore beats,which actually work great with our stuff
ive got a version of alice were workin on together,may actually ask donks for some metel angst guit for it GODFLESH stylee
