This statement implies that we are being held back by the lack of real-time feature updates to the major sequencers...my biggest problem is that there are too many options, diluting focus and creative energies.

And so, lets suppose there is a feature you want... you can usually buy it for cheap on-line very quickly. I don't see a limitation there.

There are several reverbs in buzz that aren't "Freeverbs", here's two examples ported from VST counterparts:
