really don't know how it started or ended... :)

this is indeed a little test, I you manage to pass 3 fullblown minutes of the track, you'll get a little extra, some melody (still not much)

I hope you enjoy...(yeah, it's a bit long)

pay for my box twice...(almost 7 minutes for 6.4Mb@128Kb)

didn't know what to expect, with your introduction there.
but I do like this tune. lot of cool sounds all moving around; very cool deep bassy sound at 3:30 or so - what did you use for that?
well, I have listened to this 4 times already.
so, I reckon I like it!

Post

a single Malstrom track for all the "bassy" sounds.

Post

Been listening to this one with quite a bit of fascination now for a while.

Very experimental and some really cool sounds going on.

A bit long :?

No complaints here :D

More of this please

I quite like this one. Especially from about 2:20 onwards. I like the beginning parts, if maybe a bit disjointed, but I found everything starting from the tinkly, beepy bit onwards worked really well together, really held my attention.

Your stuff is new to me. Looking forward to checking out more.

Cheers,
Steve

i love how the beginning chord progresion is always hinted at, if only gestural, great stuff. makes me go want to break something ...

what were you using for some of this FM stuff around 3:45? csound?

anyway will finish listening later got to jet,

look forward to hearing more stuff like this, hopefully,

raymond who loves creative music.

You have a new fan. Listened to Confined Space and Prostituta di Stato from your site. Both excellent. I must admit I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff.

there are some nice sounds in your song and i like the tention that it builds up towards the end... only on the overall i personally find it boring. i think that it would really help if you added some driving purcussion and make that do some nice, weird things. Cause now it sounds a bit minimal / empty and i love minimalism but it doesn't fit with this style, i think. in my ears it's a bit like Venetian Snares in style. anyway there are some nice sounds in there. :)

wow guys...tea, biscuits and feedback... :D

to everybody...thanx for the attention, I'm happy for the kind reviews.

Mystahr: yeah, a bit long :? maybe after the first break the verse should last the half.

shamann: sorry for my lousy page, I hope the tracks are better :D

raymond: no Csound, 2 layers of Malstrom with some wild automation. my music making is already slow and unusefully complicated

Vurt: hi there, John, here's another pornoblurb 8)
everything tried to get between me and my cd... :)
Ampcast tried to cut my account for inactivity, new jobs, new dogs, new neighbours tired of too much vdrum pounding, new houses & synthedit :P
so, right know...f**k all...I'm getting my first holydays. btw, the cd is ready, you can listen to 3 snippets on my page. what about you? was "the end" really "the beginning"?

austere: thanks for trying but I think my objective was to build a little tension and then blow it with something catchy. agree on the boring thing. everything is boring, specially venetian snares :D

i totally agree on that Venetian Snares is boring, don't understand what people like about it that much. it's so directionless.

though your song is not the epitome of catchyness i do think you've succeeded in achieving your objective with blowing your build up tention on catchyness. :)

anyway, vurt, as shamann noticed I made other tracks in the meanwhile, but this one is the only with a "happy ending". that's why I posted it, don't wanna pass for the dark antisocial mo-fo with desperate tunes. :D

...which is boring quite the same, right?

Lacks some hi freq. Interesting sounds, groovy rhythm. As said before: A bit too long. I'd expected more drastic changes after the big break at 3.50 min, but I guess you did not compose this track for me only.

yeah, maybe I was intoxicated by latest micromusic downloads (micromusic.net) and I wanted to bitcrush everything, the eq is the result of me hating some harsh hifreqs.

hope is crunchy enough, though, specially the 2nd half.
