Clear sound proofing

Hi guys, basically I work at a bar and we have a terrace outside which in the summer I'm looking to make use of by putting a DJ out there on sunny days.
Only issue is, is that when it was tried a couple of years ago, after a while it got noise complaints from a certain direction. I'm wondering if theres any way of putting a transparent form of a sound barrier up on the side of the terrace that matters, to dampen some of the noise.
Now I've done some googling and all I could seem to find were some plastic materials that go over windows, so I'm wondering, is there anything that is both clear and acts as a sound barrier, thats not too expensive to buy.
Thanks in advance!

Thinking creatively, don't know about the dimensions and how much people are there.
I would use several small speakers and a little sub.
If another house is too close and the sound is just as loud as the crowd i think the highs and mid highs are more the issue, more than the bass.
You could build something to prevent the highs bouncing directly to the neighbors house, like this:

But made for every speaker in a small form just to prevent the highs to bounce.
In case there is no marquee at all.
Then i would grab a sound level meter and accurately calibrate the volume. (and leave it like this)
Then i would talk to the relevant neighbors and try to adjust the level.
With some action i guess it could be possible,i think they still will hear the sound but it's all about certain annoying frequency's which needs to be adjusted.
Also the placing of the monitors are relevant, some of them could be placed opposed.
Of course this can't be loud.
