That's the source of all this grief isn't it? And what a girlfriend! Soon to be 300 pages of lamenting.

I went on their site today and read the advice about backups. Rather nice that they advised us to d/l both win and mac versions in case we ever change platforms don't you think? And that they've given such comprehensive advise about backup.

A real shame about CA. What are the alternatives to Alchemy? Is it a matter of multiple instruments to fill the gap? Absynth and Iris 2 perhaps.
