I would say for simplicity, most users will understand "ADVANCED" and "GLOBAL"

I was thinking of GLOBAL as well, even if it is not strictly true, as the number of voices are stored per patch. But that's a detail.lionscub68 wrote:I would say for simplicity, most users will understand "ADVANCED" and "GLOBAL"
ADVANCED will look quite cramped on the button, and I don't want to reduce the fontsize further, or make the buttons even larger.

I'd move anything per-patch outside Global, so that should be in Advanced section along with chorus settings...

OK. I can confirm the problem. Something must have gone terribly wrong in on of the last updates...martin_l wrote:OK. I will test it tonight. Just out of curiosity, did you try different MIDI keyboards?ENV1 wrote:Well, ive tried it in 4.martin_l wrote:Could you, please, let me know which host you are using?
VSTHost: Problem occured
SAVIHost: Problem occured
REAPER: Problem occured
energyXT: Problem did not occur, but maybe i just havent tried long enough.
(It always needs a bit of messing around (like playing a lot of random chords) until the problem starts to manifest. Thats why i said its a bitch to track down, because while it is generally well reproducible you never know exactly when it actually starts to happen. So far i was not able to make out any kind of pattern, except that it only seems to be happening if youve played some random chords first.)
All i can say at the moment.
Will do more testing when i have time and let you know if i find anything worth reporting.
Cheers,
Martin

Hi. I have only just stumbled upon this and I have to say having been a proud owner of the JX8p, the sound structure is spot on, it is really good to find a genuine vst variation of it, the patches you have supplied take me back to a good time in my musical adventures, plus the patches provided by others here have rekindled my love for all things JX
if only someone was to put some dedication into making a really nice JX3p, my old studio would be almost complete. Again thank you Martin.
Patrick.

'MISC'?martin_l wrote:I guess it is mainly the "MIDI" name which should be changed
All my projects end up with one of those.
And you'd only have to change 2 characters. (Though the amount of typing involved probably shouldn't be your main concern ...)
None of the really dumb people I knew when I was young are young any more.

Mac AU still has issues recalling banks, and all have some voice allocator problems.
Working hard on a fix...

First things first Martin, this thing sounds awesome! I mean it. I put the sound up there with Diva and OB-XD in terms of how warm and analog this thing can sound. I am continually amazed at the patches that I can make with this thing. It's rapidly on it's way to my favorite synth.
The question I have is where is the knob for pulse width? There is a pulse width wave but I can't seem to find the knob on the gui? I've never owned the hardware version of this so I'm sorry if this is a very stupid question.
Congratulations on a masterful synth emulation. You hit it out of the park.
