Track was made in Bitwig, using 10 instances of Eclipsis. All effects are from Bitwig, like EQ, compressors, delay, reverb and some Rotary for stereo effect. See screenshot.

Welcome Reefius!

You'll have to remove the Rotary as it's a modulation effect. Other than that you're all set.

I will not enter the contest, because it would be way too much stress for me to finish a song in just 4 weeks
But I will "join" the event as Preset Author and I hope to speed up your working progress a little bit with this soundbank.

I hope you find it useful. Unfortunately I had to hurry up, because I made 44 Patches during the last 2 days so that you can use them in time (at the beginning of the contest). Please pardon me if something doesn`t sound perfect for you and just work it out by yourself until you like it. The most of you are probably able to change presets and so you have got at least a couple of presets more as a basis for your own sounds. I also was very generous with the effects, you might have to turn them down again a little bit for the case that you will get CPU usage problems.

Have fun and good luck :)

Wow thanks,

I really want to do this month too, but I am having the hardest time with this synth. It has a lot to it and I'm used to working with less. And I don't want to really use presets because then I'm not really learning anything.

You`re welcome :) Can`t wait to hear all the new presets we will hopefully get when the contest is over :D

I also wish to learn, but you can also learn from watching the presets others have made. I find it very inspiring and helpful to see how others create a sound with a certain Synthesizer. I also had the demand to myself to use selfmade patches only for my own songs, but in the meantime I changed my mind again, because I simply haven`t made enough patches until now and so my working process is actually blocked because of this demand. My new idea is to use my own patches as well as factory presets and patches from different Sounddesigner, because that is simply more relaxing and I can make progress with my songs a bit faster. Later when I (hopefully) will have got tons of selfmade patches then I can try to make own songs with own patches only, but until now.......

I think one needs a huge amount of very different patches for being really creative in making songs. But I wish you good luck and hope that you will master the challenge :)

Rotary removed, replaced by panning modulation from the synth, so I guess that's ok because the synth is now doing the panning, not an external effect ;)

Cool :) Technically to replicate a rotary, you'd need to do some kind of phase / pitch modulation and vibrato. I'm not sure stereo is technically part of the real rotary effect.

The pitch change in a rotary effect is actually the result of the Doppler effect. And because the Doppler effect is linked to (spacial) movement, at least some movement in the stereo field is needed for the best result ;)

You're right, I meant the original leslie rotary didn't have 'stereo' technically it's a rotating speaker (I meant the true rotary... kinda came out confusing). To get the Doppler-ish effect you'd have to modulate the pitch of course
