Hey there! I've just downloaded z3ta +2 and I've been having an issue where all of the presets I have recently downloaded will pop up with an error "Error: Program data load failed." I copy the files into z3ta+2/programs file location and the presets are layered in three folders such as (Factory content - Showcase - Sound.) I've tried two separate preset packs to varify it wasn't simply just the one pack.

As well, I'm not sure if this might be apart of the issue or not, but just being curious I created my own preset and tried to save it in the "Programs" file location and within' one of the other location the default presets are saved in no matter where I attempt to save the created preset I get a message "saying "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact admin blah blah blah." I've checked my computer UAC settings and all is right to give me full privileges to my comp so I'm not sure what else I could do.

The banks and patches are not installed in the tree of "Program files". They are installed here:

C:\Cakewalk Content

It is here that you must search (and also write) the banks and patches of Z3TA+ 2.

Hey! Thanks so much for the reply! But for the life of me I can not find the "Cakewalk content" folder. The only other places I can find anything associated with Cakewalk is here: C:\Program Files\Cakewalk Which has things such has Documentation, Resources (The images), arpeggios, and the .EXE version of z3ta.

All these things should not be in the tree "Program Files" since this tree is by security forbidden to write by the user.

My advice: Uninstall your Z3TA+ 2 then reinstall it in following this little document I've just made for you here.

Ugh! I just got so excited! I followed to PDF you made and got the "Cakewalk Content" file to show up and put the presets in it but still getting the stupid "Error: Program data load failed!"

I've just tried with their demo pack (the link "Download the FREE Z3TA+ 2 Demo Bank" at the middle of the page (just below the video) that you have given me)... No problem to load these patches and have their sounds.

Let's see...

When you unzip (or unrar) a pack, you get a new directory. Do you place this new directory inside this one?
c:\Cakewalk Content\Z3TA+ 2\Programs\User Content\

Then, when in Z3TA+ 2 you load a patch in memory do you use this menu?

Ah, thanks so much! Just went through a similar experience. I have now separated my programs into a "Cakewalk Content" folder in a different directory and all is well.

I know this thread has been vacant for several months, but I am having the same problem with a preset bank that I bought. The only thing is, none of the things that one guy said to do worked for me. I re-installed it 5 times. I re downloaded and unzipped the bank from the cakewalk website several times and still nothing. I also made sure the content folder isn't in any of the program folders.

I really need help. I don't want to have wasted all this money on a bank I can't use.

Hey, I know it's been awhile since this was posted, but I was struggling big-time, and am pretty savvy about computer things- here's the answer, if you haven't discovered it: Z3TA+ 2 VERSION 2.1. Version 2.0 is the problem, and 2.1 solves it all. All of my extra presets in the \Cakewalk Content\Programs folder now work exactly as they should.

Hope this helps anyone else out there that might be tearing their hair out.

Where can i find all the Zeta+2 files on OS X?

I did a fresh install of the VST and the plugin works fine, then i import a sound bank and the Daw crash to the desktop.

Now i can't open the plugin because it crash the main daw, a fresh install didn't work for me.

how can i delete the whole trash that all files are clean?
