Thanks Vurt - yeah the challenge for me was to remix a song I was working on completely - using nothing but PS Free.

OK the original mix has been done and uploaded:

I used Slayer 2 for the solo instead of PS Free, plus various other plugs for Piano, Drums, FX, Pads etc. I'm not sure which of the two versions I like best - the PS Free one sounds cleaner and less cluttered to me.

Ok, I gotta admit that I like the Plugsound only version more!

I think it´s the sound of the Slayer guitar that needs alot of eq´ing cause it seems destructive to the mix. The more synthetic guitar in the other version pays much more respect to your beautiful tune.

Thanks for that feedback. It's always nice to have someone else listen to two different mixes for me. I was leaning the same way myself. I guess I need to EQ the solo on the PS Free version and bring it out just a little.

hey nice song man. great melodies in there. I have plugsound free and had no idea you could extract that much from it. I love that acc. guitar too.

Something really strange happened in my ears at 0.40 (spanish-mix). All of a sudden its like the low end part get's cut and the bassey punch is lost (even though it wasn't huge).

Anyhow, I know PSF has some high quality sounds and this track only shows for that.

Checked the original too, and agreed the sound of the electric feels better, but I somehow still prefer the remixed version.

Now if only the rains would stop, but then again a track like this brings sunshine into the room

Hmmm, I tried to find that low-end loss at 0:40, but it's alright on my headphones.

Yeah I like the PS Free mix better. I actually went crazy yesterday and bought Plugsound Box (all 6 modules!!) and also UltraFocus!!!! YAY! UF rocks! Will put a song today made in UF.

I have to say the guitars in PS Box (vol 2) are very, very nice. Could be time for a 2nd remix,
