Voted.
Really impressive entries this time. Almost 60% of the tracks received a 4 or 5 from me, and only two entries received a 2 - not because they're bad, but because they weren't as impressive as the other ones, imo.
Amazing job, everyone!

Sent a message to them, i'm pissed off about this. fourth time along this 2014 and 2015.
Wondering if the tracks i already voted will be removed in the voting website if i exit out of it.
Annoying for the good ones like you, who are commenting seriously... stay calm, buddy
Tracks are not removed! It´s a very well programmed voting system... who did it again?
I´m really happy for the drag and drop system AND that I don´t have to vote 67 tracks at once!

Is it being suggested that by voting in the OSC that we can have our Soundcloud accounts removed?

I tried to only give the ones I thought were "better" than many others a 5, but it is tough as I don't like saying one is better than another. So much effort goes into these that I feel bad giving lower votes for anyone. I wanted to lump all the 4s with the 5s, but oh well..animehaus wrote:Voted.

Irion is commenting "excessively". This has nothing to do with voting.wagtunes wrote:Is it being suggested that by voting in the OSC that we can have our Soundcloud accounts removed?

I always vote the same way.
1 Points: Vote for me, only my track is in the 1 point zone.
2 Points: Votes for tracks that need a bit of improvement, they are not bad, all musicians start by something and need to learn and hows to, etc.
3 Points: Votes for tracks that i like somehow (a certain sound, a passage, a feeling, a bit of this, a bit of that) something short, but still need more of improvement.
4 Points: Votes for tracks that i actually liked and enjoyed, they are very well managed and mixed, i felt something or those were evocatives, fresh...
5 Points: Votes only for the 3 best tracks which go up from the 4 points zone to 5 points zone. My 3 champions.
Still working on the votes. Great entries, as usual. Nice to see newcomers and new names here and there.
Have a nice day and good luck

Yep, as I mentioned before, I consider tracks with 4s and 5s pretty much equal, the difference being that the 5s really left me speechless. So, even taking this "oomph" aspect into account, I gave 5 to 13 tracks that absolutely blown my socks off on every aspect.Examigan wrote:I tried to only give the ones I thought were "better" than many others a 5, but it is tough as I don't like saying one is better than another. That's why I said I'm really impressed with this particular OSC: lots of really, really impressive tracks here.

haha thats so typical for soundbutt, they are the worst service right now. copyright claims out of nothing, 3 hours for free account, why not 4? it feels like sound-facebook, the whole layout. all the push about buying a Pro-plan! the terrible service, when you want to stream something. i would like if they would introduce more adds and stop being such b-holes and open up to more traffic on one account.IrionDaRonin wrote:And here we go again!

i will never buy a single Pro account from them.
PS: some of friends lost their account because of copyright claims on their own tracks - yes the claims cames from blabla - blalabla claims to for blabla - blalabla.

What if I was secretly a chic?photonic wrote:Girls ?Bjulin wrote:...Have fun guys/girls!
I often wonder if there are any girls in the OSC. Due to the nicknames it is not so clear. But whenever I see clear names or images, it seems that the OSC is a boys club.
Yeah I dont' recall. It's really interesting, maybe we can reach out to a girl's musical forum or something
