I really love all of the constructive feedback I'm getting from you guys on soundcloud. This seems like a really great and supportive community and I'm totally going to keep participating in these contests.

Whew! Finished the second round of the voting but there may be a thrid. It's the first time for me to evaluate other people's music, so it wasn't easy. I had to give out much more points than I intended! :hihi:
Thank you for the comments, everybody!
Good luck to all of you!
May the first placed be the winner!

VOTED!

I even downloaded all the tracks (apart the few not available for download) and listened them in my car during this week.
I ended up with all the songs compressed in the 3-5 point range. So i added a bit of dynamics and spanned the songs in the full range.
A tought job.
Many compliments to all.

All tracks started at middle of the scale (3) except my own amazing track :-(. I cannot believe it's got 1 that too from me. It's my baby. You know how painful it is. How can you do this :-(
Anyway, some tracks started drifting down immediately.. don't know what's up with those, they were so happy to be there. I tried to bring them up but they didn't budge, so if you find yours there then blame your track not me. I had nothing to do with it, it was their choice. Then there were these other bunch, they started climbing up, some even went beyond the scale and sat at 10. When asked they were like "Oh, I deserve a f***ing 10, screw your 1-5 scale".. oh such arrogance, it took a while to bring them down to the scale.

Now you know how much I enjoyed listening to all those amazing tracks :-D

Oh by the way, there was no space in SC to leave a proper comment. So my comments were not exactly timeline based, it was on overall track.

Good luck to all.

Voted and left comments for all tracks! Will have more listens if I have more time and maybe change some ratings. Incredible selection of tracks and diversity. Well done everyone!

I just updated my votes. As the rules do not provide specific criteria for voting, I used a kind of bell curve so there have to be 2s, 3s, 4s, and 5s. But really, there are 0 bad songs in this bunch.

Of course, it was very hard to not put most of the ones that ended up being 2s as 3s, and those that are 4s as 5s. To make these decisions, I considered if the song sounded unique and if the person had made their own presets. That may be flawed, but that is what I did. :?

This competition was really fun, but voting might be a little stressful. Then again, it may be worth it as getting 60-some new songs to listen to is quite nice. :phones:

Here is how my voting worked out -

1 : 1 (mine, of course)
2 : 17
3 : 36
4 : 9
5 : 4

Looking forward to seeing the results!

:) :hyper: :tu:

...as noted previously, derp, I forgot to upload, below please find the FLP for my project. Have fun ;)

The only pluggy apart from Hive that is not FL native is Steve Duda's (Xfer) free Dim Expander pluggy:

http://xferrecords.com/freeware/

Truth be told, it's used on one arp, and quite negligible, so don't worry about it if you don't have it, and don't want to install it (it literally just adds a tiny bit of stereo width to one arp).

PS: Yes, the lanes aren't named, I really should do that XD

PPS: KVR doesn't allow .flp files to be attached directly to so I've uploaded to box.net.

Yes, voting system is a very good programmed thing. But I don't like it forgets relative positions of tracks. For example, I can't decide if track deserves 4 or 3 points, so I can place it to the top of threes or to the bottom of fours and decide the faith of such border-line tracks later. But when I log in later, this track can be located in the middle of threes (or fours)!

I thought about that for some time. It's nice to know people would like to have it sorted in the boxes. I'll make note of this. :tu:

Also, see if it's possible to collapse the boxes. At the moment it needs too much scrolling when dragging from left to right especially when 2, 3, 4 boxes are pretty full. Not a big deal but if it doesn't take too much effort then why not :-)

That's almost done, but I didn't like how it worked yet. Thanks for mentioning it, will check this out. :tu:
