Looks and sounds great, is the workflow similar to synapse Orion?

Post

It is designed for mobile devices and I must say that it is hard to beat the workflow on a small screen (on Android) with this much funcionality. In the future there will be the last missing piece implemented- audio tracks!
There is othere apps that depending on taste is as good but like said above on a small screen...
There is another contender though that is a whole workstation that also works good on a small screen that is worth checking out with less funcionality but with some tricks of it's own- Syntheogen.
Every man and every woman is a star.

Yes. There is even a pc version

Best app around bar none.

I've tried Caustic on my tablet. I think it's the best DAW for Android, I'll certainly buy it as I have a lot of fun noodling new tunes and loops with it!

By far Caustic has the most optimised programming and easiest workflow to sketch a tune on Android.

Thanks musical android for the heads up on syntheogen. Looks sleek, and has some smart workflow shifts from the standard daw, but this also makes it less intuitive for newcomers.
The weakest link of syntheogen is the synth, imo.

Just bought caustic for iOS and it is brilliant, deep but easy.

I'm amazed how well Caustic work on "regular desktop" Windows :o

And it is available as a portable app, doesn't have to be installed, can be fired up directly from an USB stick
