tss come on - this is what I meant: you're comparing Sytrus to a small 2 oscillators/1 filter plugin.
I'm not telling Infector is not great, but what's the 8th wonder of the world for buzz users is pretty common in other sequencers. There are legions of such mini synths (and so many free synthedit-made ones).

Technically there are 3 oscs (2 of which give you a choice of over 20 waveforms). And that "1" filter is a choice of about 18 different filters. Is that weak? There's also the quality issue, not just counting waveforms (is TS404 STILL in FL

?)

edit: BTW. If you'd stop looking at Buzz users the way you do you'd only have to gain. I'm not an exclusive Buzz user, but it is the heart of my studio, and if you think that's indicative of my music in a bad way, you're pretty ignorant.

This statement implies that we are being held back by the lack of real-time feature updates to the major sequencers...my biggest problem is that there are too many options, diluting focus and creative energies.

Your "problem" is perhaps why the VST adapters in Buzz are more versatile than most commercial sequencer VST adapters. Or why someone made for me an unlimited points surround mixer in about 5 days when I needed it.

yes, it's pretty common, I've seen more featured synthedit-made plugins

yes, and the 404 is one of those small, free (and old) synths I'm talking about

When I was thirteen Moonlight Shadow was all the rage...now I'mm 33 and I use FL studio and am rather embarrassed by the whole Shadowy deal. But I really respect Old Mikefield (like with most artists, I don't like *everything* he's done) and I certainly like Image-Line a lot...they give me so much bang for my buck. And Sytrus is great for dimwits like me who thought "machines" were something in a Terminator movie.

Now what's all the buzz about?
