Well, its not something i would do, but i can see why you would want colored buttons instead of colored text there.

The membranes are of course still an option, what you see right now is only put there to get started, i.e. to see where the object positions and boundaries are. (Which is important, as these are hardcoded in the DLL and not something i can alter.) So changes are not only likely at this point, some things definitely will change during the further process. (Display for instance.) As always i will try different things and keep whatever i like best.

Dunno, it definitely helps to more easily discern those buttons there, to me. :)

Yes, something has to be done there to make it better legible from afar.

Maybe i will make membranes. The programmer didnt have those (it has buttons like i made, only square) but the actual synth did, so it a good compromise and not too 'untrue'.

BTW; i saw 2 other pics of the programmer today and these had black sliders and black knobs and black buttons, and the casing was pretty much black as well. Is the one that im using to work after (i.e. the one with the grey controls and casing) some kind of 'special edition' or something?

I would still like a clear visual difference between the WRITE, LOAD and SAVE buttons… :bang: 8)

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Shows how much the flash and lighting temperature in the room can impact the photo.

It's grey alright. There were no "special editions" of PG-800. Here's a pic of mine:

I dont think thats it.

The difference in color tone is so extreme, that cant possibly be black controls and casing.

The greytone almost looks the tone they had used for the grey 101, (and some other stuff), albeit a bit overbrightened by the light conditions.

Maybe a limited edition? Or only sold in certain countries?

colorize the buttons lightly, but keep the text on them white. as it is the buttons are a little hard to read.

Thanks.

I will probably switch to color coded membranes, similar to those that Martin made.
